Cluster Feeding is extremely common in newborns between 3-6 weeks old, it usually happens during sudden growth spurts.
However, some babies can cluster feed later than the newborn stage, sometimes at around the 3 & 6 month mark.
Don’t worry Mumma it doesn’t last forever! Your milk supply regulates to meet your baby’s demand after about a week. But look out for the signs!
Many women mistake cluster feeding as a sign of low supply and baby not getting enough milk. Due to how common cluster feeding is, so many women truly believe they are not producing enough to feed their babies.
Cluster feeding can be demanding on your body and your emotional well-being as baby will be fussy and want feeding more frequently. Get support from your medical provider, family and friends during this time!
